As I'm sure you will soon find out, english is not my mother tongue, so please, bear with me and with all the grammatical mistakes I'm likely to make!!!

Anyway, I've always been fascinated by Scotland, and I will try with this web site to share my passion with you!

On this site, you will find a little of everything, but always in connection with Scotland (even if sometimes the connection's slight!), including tons of photos, travel advice if you intend to go to Scotland for the first time, books (fiction or non-fiction) about Scotland ...

I just hope that after visiting these pages you will want to go to Scotland to discover this wonderful country and its fabulous inhabitants!

This site was created using special polices, if you want to download them to view the pages as they were crafted, please click here.

Here is a little summary about what you will find in this site:

pictures: You will see there some of the pictures I made while travelling around Scotland (castles, sceneries, lochs...). These pages contain a lot of photos and therefore can take a few minutes to load.

some advice: I have tried to collect some information which could be useful for the "first-time-in-Scotland" travellers, such as places to see absolutely, where to stay, what sort of clothes to put in the suitcase (is it really raining ALL the time?)...

music:What would be Scotland without its folklore and music? You'll have here some of my favourite scottish bands (playing modern or traditional music), as well as one or two useful addys if you want to buy scottish music on-line.

books: Novels taking place in Scotland, books of scottish pictures, or history books are proposed in this page.

introduction to Gaelic: Scottish gaelic is an amazingly beautiful language but is nonetheless very hard to learn. I have tried here to give you some of the basis I have managed to learn. Maybe after reading them, you would also want to learn it (good luck!!!)
